Kabeer Grand Ayatollah Syed Mohsin Al-Hakim Tabatabai, and respected
father of faqeeh-i-doraan (jurist of this age) Grand Ayatollah Syed
Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim Grand Ayatollah Hazrat Syed Muhammad Ali
Al-Hakim’s sad demise is a great tragedy for Islamic world.
In a statement issued from Maktab-i-Tashayyo headquarters,
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi expressed
hearty condolence on sad demise of late Ayatullah, he announced to
observe ‘Tarhim Day’ on March 6.
He said that the late Ayatollah was an author and a teacher who was
fully equipped with many religious sciences. He was seen with great
honour and respect in all stratums. He paid a visit to Pakistan in
1966 and was warmly welcomed by all intellectual circles; his
addresses on Ittehad baynul Muslimeen were highly appreciated.
He appealed momineen to hold programs of Quran-Khwani,
majalis-i-tarahim and praying gatherings for elevation of ranks of
deceased Ayatollah Muhammad Ali Al-Hakim on the occasion of ‘Tarhim
Day’.
