Donít become hostage to terror powers on Yemen, advises Moosavi to Pak Govt

By: Salman Alvi

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Pak-China friendship is everlasting. He said the government should not become hostage to those riot-mongering and terrorist powers on Yemen war issue who had been trying to create apprehension in Pak-China friendship. Foreign interventions in autonomous countries always result in destructive situation as Pakistan has already suffered a lot first owing to Russian and then American intervention in Afghanistan.

He said warning to their foreign infiltrators in Balochistan is the voice of the nation on which we pay tributes to Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan.

These views were expressed by him while talking to different delegations of Azadars from Lahore and other cities headed by Pakistanís renowned Azadar Nawab Hussain Ali Qazilbash and others.

Agha Moosavi said that Iraq-Iran war and Kuwait attack drama is being repeated by colonial powers by pushing Saudi Arabia in war. He said pushing Saudi Arabia into civil war in Yemen is a heinous conspiracy the purpose of which is to weaken Saudi Arabia and strengthen the powers who attacked Harmain Sharifain in 1979. He said friendship of Pak rulers with Saudi Arabia demands that we may pull Saudi Arabia out of this war. He said if the Arab League desires to save Arabs from Zionism and colonialism then they should not delay for a ceasefire in Yemen and get the things settled there through dialogue. He said the OIC should come out of deep slumber while United Islamic Assembly should be formed and getting Muslim powers recognised the right of veto should be achieved in the United Nations.

The TNFJ chief said that there is a saying of the Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that there are three types of friends; friends, friend of friend, enemy of the enemy and there are three types of enemy; enemy, friend of the enemy, and enemy of the friend. He said China is Pakistanís friend with every angle. He said even the shadow leaves you in hour of trial but China is such a friend who helped Pakistan on every occasion. Pakistan always gave priority to friendship with China and always expressed honour in feeling so.

Agha Moosavi said that the foundation of the Pakistanís foreign policy is not to become subservient to any big power, create brotherhood and cooperate with all countries, respect the independence of all countries of the world and interference that may encroach upon the independence and autonomy of any country may be avoided, the biggest example of which the policy adopted by Pakistan viz attack on Yemen. He said Pakistan always supported independence movements of Palestine, Kashmir and Vietnam, therefore, it should also play a leading and positive role in Yemen war. He said Pakistan is confronted with multiple problems for the last three and a half decades and in these circumstances seeking army help from us by a brotherly country poses a question mark.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the international enemy desires to overcome the power of security institutions of all Muslim States and this can only be done when we create anarchy in Muslim States. This is going on from Libya, Iraq, Syria to Pakistan. He said the United Nations has run one-way traffic on Yemen situation which is tragic. He said the United Nations should exercise immediate ceasefire in Yemen, initiate dialogue, financial help Yemen, and arrange independent elections there and before all these national government should be put in place which may hold elections.
