Ayatollah Bashir Najafi expresses happiness on victories of Iraqi forces over ISIS

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Grand Ayatollah Bashir Husayn al-Najafi
has expressed happiness on the recent victories of the Iraqi
security forces over the ISIS terrorist group and stressed that the
importance of the liberation of Iraq from the hands of the
terrorists. He expressed these views while talking to the commander
of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis at who
met him in his office in the holy city of Najaf.
The revered source of emulation also stressed upon the necessity of
protecting public and private property in in the operations to
liberate ISIL-occupied territory, saying: “We are honoured and proud
for having such children among the security forces and the Popular
Mobilization Forces people.”
Ayatollah al-Najafi also stressed the importance of standing firm
and strong against the enemies of Iraq.
During the meeting, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis briefed Ayatollah
al-Najafi on the progress of the operation to liberate Fallujah from
the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group and on the victories achieved by
the Iraqi security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces in the
