US renews S Arabia travel warning

By: Nabil Raza

WASHINGTON: Washington has renewed its August 13 travel warning for Saudi Arabia directing Americans to postpone non-essential travel there because of possible terror attacks, according to reports on Tuesday.

“American citizens in Saudi Arabia should remain vigilant, particularly in public places,” the statement advised.

The warning came two days after the American embassy in Riyadh urged US citizens to be particularly watchful for potential terrorist attacks.
