Karbala heroes’ birthday celebrations in Canada and US

TORONTO, Canada: With the beginning of the holy month of Shaban – the 8th month of Hijri calendar – which marks the birth anniversaries of Heroes of Karbala: Hazrat Imam Hussain, Hazrat Imam Zainul Abidin, Hazrat Zainab and Hazrat Abul Fazlil Abbas (peace be upon them), special functions held across the world.

A grand Jashan was organized to celebrate the auspicious occasion of birth anniversaries of the Chief of Martyrs Hazrat Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and his brother King of Faithful Hazrat Abbas (peace be upon him) at hussainiyah Passmore of Toronto on September 26, Friday at 7:30 PM.

Large number of devotees attended and while sharing greetings extended felicitation in the respected court of the Prophet (peace be upon him & his progeny) and his infallible descendants (peace be upon them).

Marking the occasion, a celebration was held at the Islamic Education Center of Houston, USA, on Saturday, 27th September. Moulana Syed Abbas Ayleya (Seattle) addressed and highlighting the holy personalities of Hazrat Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), Hazrat Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) & Hazrat Abbas (peace be upon him) paid rich homage to them.
