Aza-i-Fatimiya culminating programs appeal King Fahd on Baqi By: Salman Alvi ISLAMABAD, July 23: The Fatimiya Mourning Days programmes in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Batool (S.A.) concluded throughout the country on Friday.
Majalis-e-Aza were held and Matmi processions taken out on the 5th and last day of the programmes in all small and big cities, towns and villages of the country during which ulema, waizeen, and zakireen highlighted the seerat-e-Hazrat Zahra (S.A.). Khutaba of all schools of thought declared the Uswah-e-Batool (S.A.) a complete example for womenfolk to follow and while presenting condolences in the Bargah-e-Risalat (SAW) on the Shahadat of Khatoon-e-Jannat (S.A.) reiterated their resolve to promote the message of Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat besides continuing practical struggle for the protection and development of the religion and the motherland. Addressing the concluding Majlis of Ayyam Aza-e-Fatimiya at Jamia-tul-Murtaza in Islamabad, Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat said that Kalma-e-Tauheed guarantees the blessings and survival of humanity. All Prophets, Messengers, Aulia and Righteous Persons confronted the dictators in every era for the mission of Tauheed (Monotheism) but no tyrant ruler or dictator could sidetrack them from the right path. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) had said that if moon is placed on my one hand and the sun on the other even then I would not give up from my mission for the right path. On another occasion, the Holy Prophet (SAW) said, قولوا لا إله إلا الله تفلحوا Recite Kalma-e-Tauheed, you will emerge successful He said Allah declared subservience to the Rasool (SAW) as an argument of His love therefore holy Quran terms Uswah-e-Hasana of the Holy Prophet (SAW) an “example” declaring following in the footsteps of the Rasool (SAW) a proof of love for Allah: قل إن كنتم تحبون الله فاتبعوني يحببكم الله Therefore, it has been declared on the whole world that love and devotion for Khanwada-e-Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) is not only love and devotion for Allah but is also the Ajr-e-Nabuwwat and Risalat. He made it clear that the status that is enjoyed by Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) from amongst the Khanwada-e-Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) is not enjoyed by anyone else.
Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat said that we are lucky that Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam and justice and fair-play have been declared as the basis of Islam but despite passage of 57 years, Maktab-e-Tashayyo is still deprived of its basic rights despite Nazria-e-Asaasi (Basic Ideology) being a part of the Pakistan’s Constitution. He said we are surrounded by the enemy internally and externally, therefore, the government should save the nation and the country from anarchy and differences, ensure respect for the rights of all schools of thought and given ideological representation to all recognised schools of thought in all State departments on the basis of equality. He said Gen. Pervez Musharraf has taken many good steps to root out terrorism but the sensitive cities like Karachi and Quetta were made target of terrorism owing to lack of effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act leading the country towards unrest and disappointment. He said Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, practically promoted brotherhood and mutual understanding on every occasion. A resolution adopted on the occasion said that Islam has been termed as official religion of Pakistan. Shias and Sunnis are strong arms of Islam and have the right to representation in all State institutions on the basis of equality but it has been observed that Maktab-e-Tashayyo is deprived of ideological representation despite 22 points, 6 July 1980 agreement and then 21 May 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement. The resolution said that under these agreements every government in Pakistan is under the obligation to take care of rights of all schools of thought living in Pakistan on the basis of equality rather make arrangements to honour their rights. It said that media is also included in State institutions and a statement has been given in the National Assembly the other day that all parties should be given coverage on the electronic media but unfortunately Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) who is respectable not only for the Islamic World but for non-Muslims also as there is a church in Islamabad in the name of Bibi Fatima (S.A.), and who enjoyed that much respect in Islam that the Rasool-e-Kainaat (SAW) used to stand up in her respect and she belonging to a Khanwada love and devotion for which has been declared Ajr-e-Risalat, but despite inviting attention, electronic media of Pakistan ignored the Ayyam Aza-i-Fatimiya in toto. They did not represent any programme on this occasion rather did not even cover any programmes organised in connection with the Shahadat of Hazrat Fatima (S.A.).
The resolution said that the same situation is prevailing in the private TV channels some of which like to be called ideological champions. They create hue and cry when under attack. The resolution said that these channels sprang up to raise voice for the rights of the people where government takes any step contrary to that but they also totally ignored Ayyam Aza-i-Fatimiya so much that they did not even mention any programmes in their news also. The whole Islamic World is perhaps under the wrath of God just because that the golden principles of Khanwada-e-Ahmed Mukhtar (SAW) and pious Sahaba Kubaar (RA) are being violated. Expressing concern over this biased policy followed by public and private electronic media, the resolution demanded a change in this attitude and called upon the government and the proprietors of the private TV channels to identify those elements within their system who are bent upon causing harm to the nation and the country instead of benefiting them and are trying to damage the media’s reputation despite its obligation to adopt Islamic style of working and avoiding to promote un-Islamic culture but they are doing the contrary. Another resolution made it clear that although the objective for creation of human beings is worship and worshipping anyone except God is a great sin, but respect of the Sha’a’ir-Ullah are declared binding, and Sha’a’ir-Ullah means those signs from which the religion of Allah could be recognised and respect of these is declared piousness on which an Ayah ومن يعظّم شعائر الله... stands witness. Like the respect of Prophets, Righteous Persons, holy Progeny of Holy Prophet (SAW) and pious Sahaba Kubaar is binding, similarly respect and honour of their shrines and signs is also binding. Therefore, when the allied forces targeted the holy shrine of Khalifatul Muslimeen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) and Karbala, the holy city of grandson of holy Prophet (SAW), Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.), the whole oppressed world and the Islamic World including the Saudi Arabia government condemned it. The Saudi government had issued a statement in protest: ونقلت وكالة الانباء السعودية عن مصدر مسؤول بوزارة الخارجية السعودية قوله ان المملكة "اذ تدين هذا الفعل أياً كانت الجهة المنفذة له لتؤكد أن للمساجد والقبور في الدين الاسلامي الحنيف حرمتها التي توجب مراعاتها وعدم التعرض لها." Keeping that statement in view, the resolution made a fervent appeal to Khadim-ul-Harmain Sharifain (The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques) to restore the honour and dignity of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla by their reconstruction and redecoration lying destructed for the last 75 years so as to thwart the conspiracy of international colonial powers, the wave of terrorism being pursued by them. Moreover, it is necessary to give life to the long-standing demand of reconstruction of Babri Mosque and achievement of Al-Quds Al-Sharif so as to save these holy places from total destruction at the hands of Zionists and Hindus.
The resolution called upon the Government of Pakistan, particularly President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to end the unrest found in Muslims, in the Shia community in particular, by getting this issue resolved at diplomatic level. The resolution said that the Demand No. 11 in the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement is related to the reconstruction of Jannatul Baqee that is on the government agenda. It is obligatory for Muslims, wherever they are, and particularly on the Aulad-e-Rasool (SAW), Ali (A.S.) and Batool (S.A.) to raise their righteous voice using all their energies for the reconstruction of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla.
