RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Ashra-e-Ajr-e-Risalat began on Sunday across the country like other global parts in line with the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

On this occasion, mahafil-e-milad, conferences, seminars and festive gatherings were held in connection with the auspicious birth anniversary of Farzand-e-Ali-o-Batool (A.S.), Janasheen-e-Rasool (SAW) Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) in all small and big cities, towns and villages in all the four provinces and Azad Kashmir including federal capital Islamabad.

Addressing the gatherings, ulema-e-karam, waezeen and khutaba extended greetings in the respected court of holy Prophet (SAW) and highlighted the seerat of Baqir-ul-Uloom (A.S.).

In Rawalpindi, a Mehfil-e-Baqir-ul-Uloom (A.S.) was organized by Ha’eat Tulba-e-Islamia marking the occasion. Khateeb Fateh Furat while addressing the mehfil said as holy Prophet (SAW) enjoys supremacy in all Prophets and Messengers, and holy Quran in all heavenly books, similarly human being enjoys excellence and superiority in all creatures and Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) in all families of the world. Love for them has been termed obligatory and Ajr-e-Nabuwwat and Risalat, which guarantees success.

Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash, Maulana Tabassum Abbas Kazmi, Syed Azmat Abbas, Shehzad Hussein Butt, Syed Mushahid Hussain, Rawayat Hussain Rawi and Syed Ali Zeb Kazmi also addressed.

A resolution adopted on the occasion while terming continued oppression and barbarism, massacre of innocent people and terrorist activities as a heinous conspiracy of colonial powers against Islamic world said that by following practically in the seerat and character of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) these conspiracies could be thwarted with unity.

By another resolution, the gathering severely condemned role of electronic and print media and made clear that Maktab-e-Tashayyo have equal right in media like other departments, but it is lamenting that radio, TV and newspapers follow policy of silence on the occasion of days of holy personalities.

The resolution demanded that festive gatherings to mark Ashra-e-Ajr-e-Risalat throughout Pakistan must be given coverage in electronic and print media.

Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzawari and Zakir Fida Hussain Jafri addressed Mehfil-e-Ajr-e-Risalat organized by Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib (A.S.) at Qasr-e-Abu Talib (A.S.).

Similar programs were also held in Karachi, Haiderabad, Larkana, Mirpur Khas, Lahore, Mianwali, Khanewal, D.I.Khan, D.G.Khan, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Sheikhupura, Dadu, Tank, Kohat, Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Gilgit and many other cities and towns.
