RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: On the call of
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi,
Ayyam-e-Taqwa programmes continued throughout the country on the
second day, Saturday to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi
(A.S.).
Taboot processions were taken out and religious gatherings were
organised in this connection. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen in their
address at different Imambargahs and Aza Khanas, highlighted the
seerat of Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.).

Addressing the Majlis of Ayyam-e-Taqwa held at
Jamia-tul Momineen, Maulana Tabassum Kazmi said that Hazrat Imam
Muhammad bin Ali Ar-Raza (A.S.) was posted at the highest level of
Zuhd-o-Taqwa and he carried out invaluable services for the promotion
of Tauheed-e-Ilahi, Shariat-e-Muhammadi and Jaada-e-Murtazvi by
confronting oppression, suppression and brutality during his short
life span spread over 25 years.
He said at present the whole world of humanity was confronting with
problems and difficulties for the solution of which we would have to
follow the principles of pious religious leaders.

A resolution adopted on the occasion while demanding
exodus of foreign forces from Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq and
Afghanistan, strongly condemned the colonial atrocities going on there
and called upon the international organisations to play their
important role in restoring durable peace in these regions.
Another resolution called upon the Government of Pakistan to follow
the policy of mutual understanding for solution of sensitive and
important national issues and take religious and patriotic forces
within and without Parliament into confidence.
Another resolution made it clear that supremacy of Quran and Sunnah
should be ensured to prove Pakistan a Muslim State under the
Constitution instead of promoting monopoly of any particular school of
thought, and for this purpose rights of all recognised schools of
thought should be fulfilled on the basis of equality.
The resolution expressed grave concern on encroachment of rights of
Maktab-e-Tashayyo in all State departments including the electronic
and print media terming it extreme injustice. The resolution demanded
immediate implementation of May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for
solution of long-standing Shia problems.
Syed Arif Hussain Naqvi, Shahzad Hussain Sanadi, Syed
Tehzib-ul-Hasnain Naqvi, and Ali Zeb Kazmi also addressed the
Majlis-e-Aza. Later pursa of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) was
presented to the Holy Prophet (SAW) through Matamdari and Noha Khwani.
Addressing the Majlis-e-Ayyam-e-Taqwa at Qasr-e-Abu Talib, Allama
Qalab-e-Abbas said solution to our problems lay in unity and mutual
understanding. He said there is a saying of the Khatmi Martabat (SAW)
that, “Thus, O, Ahle Bait (A.S.), you are Ahl-e-Allah, courtesy of
whom blessing achieved completeness, evil, anarchy and differences
were removed, and unity and mutual understanding prevailed”.
He said today the whole world is not only confronted with oppression
and brutality rather wrath of God. Allah Says: “Do not become like
these people who were shattered even after getting bright arguments
from Allah, and such people would have to face a big wrath”.
Therefore, he said, there is need to give up all type of differences.
He said if we have to get independence of Kashmir and Palestine and
have to achieve Al-Quds Ash-Sharif, get Afghanistan and Iraq free of
the allied forces, and get rid of oppression, brutality and wrath of
God, then we would have to give up committing sins and follow in the
foot-steps of Mashaheer-e-Islam and should divert our attention toward
Allah instead of looking towards the colonial powers.
Addressing the second Majlis of Ayyam-e-Taqwa at Imambargah Zain
ul-Aza, Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, TNFJ District Rawalpindi
President said Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) fulfilled the right of
supremacy of religious principles and protection of righteousness by
waging practical jehad against oppression, suppression and brutality
in his era spread over 25 years. He said the practical following of
the uswah of Imam Taqi (A.S.) guarantees welfare and success of
humanity in this era full of problems and difficulties.
A resolution adopted during the Majlis-e-Aza demanded from the
government to ensure effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism
Act so as to restore durable peace in the country and take steps to
give rights to all recognised schools of thought on the basis of
equality. In this connection Junejo-Moosavi agreement should be
implemented for solution of long-standing problems of
Maktab-e-Tashayyo, the resolution concluded.
