I have purchased Islamic medical wisdom book published by Ansariyan Publications – Iran Translated into English by Batool Ispahany and edited by Andrew J. Newman.

It was a good book, but unfortunately the hadiths were also written in English as for the Quranic reference is okay the surah/verses were mentioned.

I would appreciate if you could provide me the original book, that is written in Arabic so that I can make a cross-reference. I would feel satisfied if words in Arabic are written in Arabic. This is because when you read them the pronunciations will be perfect and proper. Personally I feel that it is more effective as it is the language of the Quran.

This is a response to Brother Ali Naqvi. With All due respect, I implore you and everyone who wishes to support Bush (la) and this war (or demo of american military power on removing its puppets) read history about Karbala, Bush, Saddam, American Foreign Policy, Iraqi History.

1. You made a point of Imam Hussayn (AS) fighting the Yazid (la). Imam Hussayn (AS) did not fight because Yazid (la) was simply unjust, Yazid (la) was filling the stomachs of people, but with corruption, he was corrupting Islam, polluting it to fit his way. Look at how the shia of Imam Ali (as) in Kufa, preferred their stomachs to be filled and live the happy and joyous and fake religious life then to stand for the truth. Most of those in the army of Umar ibne Saad were the shia of Kufa, who prayed, who even kept the Saum [fast] of Ashura and fought against Imam Hussayn (as) and his companions. And Imam Hussayn (AS) and his followers were the terrorists as described by Yazid (la) and his governors. But Alhumdhulillah we know who the real terrorist was and who the real Soldiers of Allah was.

2. George W Bush (la) is not a real Christian. He is a militant born again Christian wahabi. Yes Christian wahabi. The Evenganical Branch of Christianity is not much different from Wahabism/Salifism. It shows its nice pretty side to the people just like the wahabi's do to most sunni. They make everything clear cut and simple for people. Bush (la) has said anyone who does not believe Jesus is the son of God will go to hell. Wake up from your illusion that this is a real man of peace. Sadly many shia's in the USA believe this man (la) and his associates are there to free shia's from saddam (la) claws. Do you honestly believe that a real shia will be allowed to claim power in Iraq? I quote Scott Riter (former UN weapons inspector) you can't have a democracy in post-war Iraq, cause shia are the majority. Nobody wants another oil-rich state run but the shia!.

3. You blame Saddam (la) for the persecution of shia's. Let me ask you

Who helped bring the Baa'th party to power?
Who gave Saddam (la) his so-called weapons of mass destruction?
Who gave him permission to use them on the innocent?
Who shook his hand when he gave them to use against Iran?
Who said to the shia after the gulf war, we are helping you overthrow Saddam (la), and then at the last minute backed out and let hundreds of thousands be slaughtered?
Who dropped Uranium depleted weapons on Basra and other shia towns, so that countless unborn were martyred, hundreds were deformed, and so many die before they reach the age of 5?
Who put the sanctions on so many items simply because they won the war, and let Saddam (la) build palaces?
Who wanted the shia's in Lebanon, Iran to become self-indulgent but also wanted them to forget their real religion?
Who put the shah in power tried to corrupt the Islam of our Ahlul-bayt and Imams (as)?
Who bombed the no-fly zones, which were mostly shia (the southern one)?
Which government wants to keep Ale-Saud (la) in power?

THE ANSWER TO ALL THESE IS THE AMERICAN GOVEREMENT. Verily saddam (la) is dastardly man, a fascist megalomaniac, but he was puppet like the governor of Kufa or the Shah. The real Shaytain was supplying each with weapons and when as long they were serving the Shaytain's goals they were free to do there own corruption. But they gave Bayaat to the Shaytain, and that’s what Imam Hussayn (as) and all our Imams (as) opposed.

4. You point out that Saddam joined with Saudi Arabia against Iran. Brother! Get your facts straight. The world was against Iran at that time, the USSR, USA, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and countless others were on the side of Iraq. And look who is the biggest supporter of these anti-shia regimes? Again the USA, supports the Saudi Government (la), The Bahrain government (where as estimated 70% of the population is shia?[not sure if that high]), the ISI in Pakistan, the Taleban till 911, and many others.

5. Follow current history of Iraq and you would see another Islamic Revolution was in the birth. So many more brothers and sisters attended Ashura and Chelum (40th, Arbean) Processions then before. There is a revival of faith. No way does America want another shia state in control of oil.

6. You say many Syed Shia's support and are friends with this president (la). I am syed and i don’t. and many outside the USA don’t. None of our real scholars do.

7. Saddam Hussein (la) is to blame for this war; even the Pakistani Ambassador to the United Nations said it. I prefer to follow those ulema who see the truth in the matter, and not some politically mentalied self-serving personage. READ, READ, READ! said Jebrial to The Prophet (AS).

I pray the shia of Iraq, wake up like he shia of Lebanon did. Who were supposedly freed by the Israelis, only to be oppressed later. Then the black shia-ism turned once again into red shia-ism (Dr. Ali Shariati, black meaning the mouring of Karbala, red meaning the blood of Karbala). I pray that if america becomes an occupier, I pray that the shia wake up from there fantasies, as Imam Khomeni scared america like no-one else (the ussr, viet cong, etc). Remember when Imam Mehdi (as) comes , few will be on his side. Many will be with the side where their stomachs are full, living the material life, with only the care of culteral religion.

May the real shia, be on the cause rite no matter how large the enemy is. May every bone, every vein of my body taste the pain of death for my sins, so i may be cleansed from them in the grave. May I follow in the footsteps of our Imams (as) and other great Leaders and Ulema. May Allah curse those evil-doers who come in the name peace, only to bring the Corruption, and those who sleep with full stomachs with giving bayaat to the Yazid (la). May Allah open the eyes of all those who search for the truth! (Illaha Ameen)

There are reports circulating in America and Canada that our Marjae Taqlid Syed Ali Hussain Seestani has been freed by the coallition army and he is suppose to give a statement sometime today regarding the war.

The news claim that Ayatullah was under house arrest for more than a decade and when the US army finally mamanged to enter the city of Najaf e Ashraf the Iraqi army which was guarding the Ayatullah's place ran away and the US took over.

Dear Respected Brothers and Sisters:
I am writing to you in support of the War against Saddam Hussain. I am a Syed Shia. Although it is sad that we had to go to war this late, it is better late then never. I hope Insha'Allah, that the Muslim Ummah will understand the point of this war one day in the future. There are quiet a few Syed Shias who are close with the Bush Administration, and they too are for this war. This war is not against Islam, but to liberate the Iraqi people from the oppression of Saddam Hussain. It is sad indeed that America had to take action; it shows the failure of us Muslims who have not done much about it, to replace Saddam Hussain.

Where were we Muslims when Saddam killed many Kurds? Where were we Muslims when

Saddam killed and tortured many Shias. Yes we did sympathized with our brothers and sisters who died then, yet we did not do much to help them. He killed many Shia clerics, as well as Sunni clerics. He tortured and killed those who opposed him. He is responsible for the war against Iran, and allied with Saudi Arabia against Iran. So many innocent soldiers died in that war. And Saddam Hussain is to blame.

I ask our respected Muslim Ulema to listen to the plea of the Iraqi people. They want to be free. The Imam of the Islamic Center of America in Detroit is an Iraqi Shia Muslim, and he is in support of this war of liberation and not the war of Invasion.

We have seen many examples in history when our own Ahlul-El-Bayt fought against evil leaders even within our community for the right and just cause. One Example is the example of Imam Hussain. He did not believe in war, but he believed in a war against injustice. President Bush is no Imam Hussain, but he is a leader of a country that is capable of taking out Saddam Hussain who oppressed our Shias. The only way to get rid of Saddam Hussain is through force.

Yes America was a bit late, and should have done this earlier, but like I said, better late then never. Yes, America is facing some punishment as a result of this war, with all these protests and opposition. Yet President Bush is strong. He has created a political suicide for himself, because he believes this war is about the right reasons. He is a man of Faith, some of you may not understand that. But Eventually you will. Not many leaders have Shias close to their administration, but President Bush does have close ties with a few Shias who are Zaidis, Naqvis, Jafris, etc. Who said this war should be about the liberation of all Iraqis. We true Muslims, believe in love of ALL PEOPLE. We are kind to all people; it is our duty to be friendly to all people. Only with love and unity we will get things done and stop the oppression of evil governments. Yet in the Arab Union itself, there were debates and name callings against each other about this War on Iraq.

Saddam Hussain is to blame for this War, not President Bush. Even the Pakistan Ambassador to United Nations said it.

It is now the duty of us Muslims to help in the rebuilding efforts of Iraq. The war to liberate has begun. Let's pray for the liberation of our Iraqi people and to give them freedom that they deserve.

My Second opinion regarding a real Muslim scholar is Late Dr. Kaleem Siddiqui .He was great nearest of Imam Khomaini from Ahl-a-Sonat Maktab.

He was the great Scholer of Muslims Of USA, UK, UGENDA, NAIGARIA, SOUTH AFRICA, SRI LANKA & PAKISTAN. He was great follower of Imam Khomaini & Iran Resolution .He was the first leader of Muslim community from USA & England that Obey of order of Imam Khomaini for Rushdi. He was running Muslim Institute Of England & he also organized MUSLIM PARLIAMENT against British Parliament. He is also very great supporter for Ithad-u-Muslimeen. I’m touched with their friends last nine year.

This morning, a colleague informed me that many things we deemed halal were not halal. Ironically, she was not a Muslim and she knew more than I did about this and I'm not upset, but grateful. For example, she informed me that most make-up and toothpaste has gelatin so it could be non-halal.

Are you able to give me a very intensive list of all the halal vs. haram products, one that includes such things as soap, shampoo, and detergent. This is very alarming! Please help.
