Salamun Alaikum
Some people are involved in my character assassination on internet and
through handbills in connection with the deportation Ms Tahir Jaffer
from Mumbai this year. I would not have replied had some religious
issues not been involved. In fact in the garb of opposing me, some
vested interests are targeting azadari.
In this connection I have to clarify some facts. First of all I did
not know Ms Tahira Jaffer till 3rd of Moharrum this year. I have been
addressing Khoja masjid Ashra majalis for the last 40 years and every
year a woman zakira (preacher) is also invited for ladies majalis. I
have nothing to do with these majalis and never knew who is going to
address them. How anybody can oppose someone whom he doesnt know at
the first place. This point needs to be taken care of.
On 2nd Moharrum after midnight, I came to know that a zakira has
spoken something against azadari. Next day on the insistence of Mr
Sultan Delhiwala and MrMohib Roshan Nasir, I reached Khoja mosque in
the afternoon after addressing a majlis at MrMohdAli Bhai Vakils
house alongwith Mr Shabbir Parekh and Mr Haji Parekh. At the mosque
nearly 100 youth were raising slogans against Ms Tahira Jaffers
speech.
Till then I did not know her name. so how it was possible that I would
have instigated the people against her. At the Khoja mosque library I
came to know her name for the first time and the fact that she had
come fromMombasa.Ms Tahira Jaffer,s speech that was played for us was
not appreciated by me, Maulana Aneesul Hasan sahab, Imam-e-Juma of
Khoja mosque, and other responsible members of the Khoja community. By
the time the crowd at the mosque had swelled and was furious after
listening her speech. The president of Khoja jamat and his associates
then and there decided that the days majlis would be addressed by the
daughter-in-law of jamats secretary and not by Ms Jaffer. This
decision was entirely that of the Khoja jamat and I had nothing to do
with it.
Next day Mr Mohib Roshan Nasir again invited me. This time the meeting
was held at Habib Hospital and Maulana Nasiri sahab and Maulana
Aneesul Hasan sahab were also present along with responsible members
of the Khoja jamaat. Ms Tahira Jaffer also came to this meeting with
three ladies and justifying her speech clarified certain points. Her
assertion that Athar Saheb did not allow her to speak is wrong. All
the important members of the Khoja community, two clerics and her
three companions were present in this meeting. Had I not allowed her
to speak, then somebody present there would have objected to it. The
fact is that she had failed to clarify certain points which I had
raised.
Another allegation leveled against me is that I had opposed Hujjatul
Islam Ayatollah Aqai Seestani while the fact is that during entire
discussion his name never cropped up. After explaining my viewpoint, I
came back from Habib Hospital since I had to address another majlis
while Ms Jaffer and Khoja jamaat members stayed back. If I had not
allowed her to speak, why she could not convince members of the Khoja
jamaat afterwards and why the community decided not to engage her in
future.
It is also being told that I addressed
four majalis against Ms Jaffer and instigated people against her. In
fact people are making these allegations without listening these
majalis. I had addressed these majalis on Wahabiyat and the importance
of Azadari and appealed in every majlis to maintain peace in view of
the sanctity of Moharrum days. If anybody is wahabi and enemy of
azadari, then indeed, these majalis were against him. I will again
insist that any opinion should be formed only after listening these
majalis.
Another propaganda against me is that I am against Marjaiyat. I am
perhaps the only zakir who, when propaganda against the Marjaiyat was
started, addressed many Ashras in its support. In 1997 in Mumbais
Khoja mosque, in 1998 in Stanmore, London and at Al-Mehndi Centre in
Toronto, I addressed majalis on the importance of Marjaiyat and
history of ijtihad. In 2000 in Kazmain imambargah of Karachi, I
addressed a khamsa on the same topic. Then again in 2001 in Dubai, I
addressed three majalis on this issue at Hussainia-e-Zehra. I myself
is a firm believer of Marjaiyat. If anybody has any tape of my majlis
or anything in writing, then he is most welcome to make it public.
Otherwise this salacious propaganda against me should be stopped.
Ms Tahira Jaffer has said in an interview that I was instrumental in
her deportation. This is entirely based on some confusion. I had left
Mumbai for Dubai on 11th Moharrum and on the day of deportation, I was
present in a feast at the house of Hujjatul Islam Maulana Murataza
Kashmiri Sahab, representative and son-in-law of Ayatollah Agha
Seestani, along with Mr Mohib Roshan, Dawood Nasir. How it is possible
that I, sitting in a third country, could be instrumental in her
deportation while the entire Shia community in Maharashtra could not
convince the chief minister, home minister and the director general of
police to cancel her deportation.
By this propaganda, some vested interests want to lessen the sanctity
of azadari and the greatness of Hazrat Imam Husain (a.s.).
Another move against me is in full swing. I am addressing majalis for
the last 54 years and in Mughal masjid in Mumbai for the last 47
years. Always loudspeakers are installed. Till today no controversy
has cropped up against my majalis throughout the world.
Barring one day, throughout the year, majalis are held with the view
that they should be accepted to others also. But Eid-e-Zehra on 9th of
Rabi-ul-Awwal is one day when enemies and killers of Imam Husain (a.s.)
and his kin are exposed unabashedly and this practice is followed
throughout the world. So in Idara-e-Jafri London in 2002, I addressed
a gathering of Husains (a.s.) followers in which names of those who
usurped Hazrat Alis (a.s.) rights and the Fidak, those who turned
Islam into kingdom and those who burnt the gate of Saiyyadas house,
killed Hazrat Mohsin and injured her grieviously, cropped up with the
impression that on Eid-e-Zehra enemies of Hazrat Imam Husain (a.s.) do
not attend such gatherings. But to my misfortune, some so-called Shias
but enemies of the Ahlebait, (a.s.) were present there. They handed
over the tape of this event to enemies. They issued a fatwa to kill
me. I want to ask those who handed over the tape as to what type of
service they have rendered to Shiyat. These so called momins
regularly sent tapes of my majalis to the organizations opposed to me.
In the name of Muslim brotherhood these Wahabi Shias condemn me.
Perhaps they are ignorant of Qurans and the Hadiths of Prophet
Mohammad (s.a.) and the Imams (a.s.). I believe, they have also not
read books from Sheikh Saddooq to Ayatollah Khomeini in which true
picture of the enemies of Ahlebait (a.s.) has been depicted.
Supporters of Ms Jaffer are condemning me on the suspicion that I had
a role in her deportation. Same people, in support of those elements
who tied the rope around Hazrat Alis (a.s.) neck and broken ribs of
Hazrat Fatima (s.a.), are distributing handbills against me.
I have also seen on the internet claim of Ms Jaffers supporters that
some Imambaras in Dubai and Washington have banned Mirza Mohd Athar. I
have no such information, nor my friends in these cities have informed
me to this effect. The supporters of Ahlebaits enemies may decide to
clamp a ban on me but I myself declare that I would never address any
majlis for those who love the killers of the mother and organize
majlis of the son.
In fact enemies of azadari are ambushing. They are writing either
anonymously or on fictitious names. Time has come for Shias to decide
with whom they would like to be associated with. With those who
respect azadari or with enemies of Ahlebait having Wahabi beliefs.
When I united Shias of India and formed an All India body for them,
supporters of the Wahabis termed this as a move against Muslim
brotherhood. When I exposed the enemies of Ahlebait, my picture was
flashed on website with Osama bin Laden and Mulla Omar. However, these
antics will not affect me. If anybody wants to talk to me, he is
welcomed to come forward with real name and address. I am ready.
As I had completed this write-up, Mr Mohib Roshan Nasir and
Hujjat-ul-Islam Moulana Nasiri contacted me to clarify that whatever
was attributed to them by the supporters of Ms Tahira Jaffer, was
totally wrong.

of daily NAWA-I-WAQT NEWSPAPER" ONLINE
What br Manzar Syed wrote is absolutely right. I would say that
nawa-i-waqt is the most prejudiced newspaper in Pakistan; rather it is
justifiable to call it terrorist.
This paper has done like this for dozens of times. On one hand it
describes itself as one that represents opposition but it has always
every governments support.
Similarly daily Express is not less than this.

Bargah in the old city of Peshawar. Adjacent to Imam Bargah there is
house. Now the owner of the house wants to sell his house for
1500,000. The anti-Shia radical group is approaching the owner of the
house to buy the house which is adjacent to Imam Bargah. Now it is
matter of life and death for momineen in that area. We have arranged
some money in order to buy that house and submit it to Imam bargah in
the Name of Imam Hussain (AS). We are now in desperate need of money.

DEPORTATION OF SHIA ULEMA FROM VARIOUS US AIRPORTS CALL FOR JOINT

Dear brothers and sisters,
Salam Alaykum,
We have had this happening in previous years, but only very seldom.
However, after the recent episode with Mawlana Safi Haider of
Tanzeem-ul-Makatib, Lucknow; and that with Dr. Kalb-e-Sadiq of
Tawheed-ul-Muslimeen Trust, Lucknow; things have taken a new turn.
Mawlana Safi Haider was detained at the airport in the month of
February, for several hours and among the questions that were asked of
him by the interviewing INS agent at the airport was this: Do you know
how to make a bomb.?
Last week Dr. Kalb-e-Sadiq was detained at Chicago and then after
several hours, he was deported to London. According to phone
conversations, he was given a piece of paper which listed INS Section
235(b)(1), among other things. Please see the details of this ruling
at the end of this letter, under the title: TERRORISM PREVENTION ACT.

This is a memo issued by the Justice Department to all immigration
judges and support staff detailing the application of that ruling.
Now, we all know that these two ulema, namely: Mawlana Safi Haider and
Dr. Kalb-e-Sadiq are two of the most pacifist and mild mannered people
of our community. They are the most harmless of all people and
basically they come here to the U.S. to share their thoughts with us,
educate us and advise us on how to behave in the community. If these
people can be labelled with terrorism and then what is left?
WHAT CAN AND SHOULD WE DO?
A. THE PROBLEM
We are all peaceful citizens of the United States of America and we
are tax-payers.
Our basic rights are being violated by indiscriminate application of
recent terrorism prevention laws and Justice Departments
insensitivity to our needs, our culture and our religious heritage.
We should, first of all, address the foreign policy aspects of the
matter.
We should then address the immigration aspect of the issue.
B. ACTION NEEDED
(i) All those people in the United States, who had been sponsoring Dr.
Kalb-e-Sadiq and Mawlana Safi Haider for speeches either in the past
or during this Muharram, whether they are individuals or religious
organizations and centers, should join hands in this effort. And all
those who have sponsored others and want to become a part of this
movement are welcome to join in.
(ii) WE should formulate an appeal to Secretary Rice stating the
following:
We are peaceful and law-abiding tax-payers of the United States of
America
We have a right to hold our religious meetings and ask for speakers
to come and address us
That right is being denied to us due to inept foreign policy rulings
The Shia community is the only part of the world Muslim community
helping the US policies against terrorism and bringing democracy. The
actions and statements of Ayatullah Seestani are clear proof to that.
WE are not the ones making bombs, we are the ones being blown up by
bombs.
Thus victims of crimes of terrorism are being labelled as the
criminals
The US foreign policy has to consider our plight and remodel itself.
We have the right to say all this to our government in a peaceful
manner as legitimate voters
(iii) We should write a legal brief (after consulting immigration
lawyers) addressing the Justice Department of the incorrect
association of terrorism to accomplished philanthropists, who come to
this country, collect some meager amounts and take it back to India
and Pakistan to help out the poor and the unfortunate Shia youth and
spend that money in their education.
The immigration agents sitting at various airports in the U.S. are
totally insensitive to the cultural aspects of our community. They
have got to be trained properly.
By stopping a few innocent clerics coming from India and Pakistan and
deporting them, the INS agents just want to show their efficiency to
their superiors that they worked for stopping terrorism. The superiors
themselves have no idea as to who has been stopped. They just look at
statistics.
These are people who have been coming to this country for the last
10-20 years. Their speeches are openly available on the INTERNET. If
there is any association of any kind of terrorism with these people,
we too want to know. Because, we would be the first to shun such
speakers.
I want this to be a grassroots movement. All are welcome to join in
this movement, but no one is forced to do so.
I want to impress upon every member of the community that this is not
the beginning of a new organization as such. I want this to move ahead
with a call for the protection of our basic rights in this society.
I am calling every one via this letter to join us. Every one from New
York to Seattle, from San Jose to Dallas and from Houston to Chicago,
and all the areas in between.
This is not a challenge to any existing organization or any
leadership.
C. NEXT STEP
Depending upon the responses to this letter, I plan to rent an
audio-conferencing center at the Mercer County Community College, here
in New Jersey. Rent an 800-number for a Saturday afternoon (for the
convenience of the folks on the West Coast) and ask everyone to call
in. We will then have an open discussion and see where we want to go
from here.
Please respond and respond quickly. The responses will give me an
indication as to how many conference-lines I will have to arrange for
people to call in.

Moulana Atahar statement on the
matter of anti-Azadari speaker

Salamun Alaikum,
Referring to Ms Tahira Jaffer, who came from Mumbasa, Africa
addressing Majalis at Khoja Masjid, Mumbai India, I first of all say
that neither I did know much about this lady previously nor at
present. The truth is that I have got a phone call on 2nd Moharram
that a zakira named Ms. Tahira Jaffer who came from Mumbasa is
misleading the Shia Women while addressing the Majlis. Therefore the
women have raised objection on what she said in her Majlis.
Around 12:30 a.m. Mr. Mohib Roshan Dawood Nasir called me to inquire
whether I had any objection to the Majlis which Ms. Tahira Jaffer had
addressed at Khoja Masjid. I replied that I have not heard that Majlis
and I cannot say anything about it. The next day was Sunday and I had
to address two Majalis during the day at Bandra. Soon after the second
Majlis I got calls from the President of Khoja Jamaat, Mumbai Sultaan
Dilliwala & Mohib Nasir to reach Khoja Masjid immediately and listen
to the tape of Ms. Jaffers Majlis which have raised controversies.
Despite being tired I immediately reached Khoja Masjid where a large
number of youth were already there. Some responsible members of Khoja
Jamaat, Maulana Aneesul Hasan Sahab, Imam-e-Juma of Khoja Masjid &
another Maulana were also present there.
The tape of Ms. Jaffer was played in which she said that the Nazr of
22nd Rajab is Bidat & the dreams in which women see Alams and later
offer Panjaas have no reality. She was also against taking out the
Mehndi of Hazrat Qasim [a.s.] She urged the women folk to shun these
rituals for the next generation would not follow them.
In my opinion this speech is in no way was appropriate. Everybody was
present there and expressed their displeasure. Khoja Jamaat
immediately decided to replace Mrs. Jaffer to someone else for the
days Majlis.
The next day I was again called by Khoja Jamaats President, the
others were also invited and this session was a closely guarded
secret. Therefore the entire Khoja Jamaat, Pesh-e-Namaaz of Khoja
Masjid, Maulana Aneesul Hasan Sahab, Pesh-e-Namaaz of Mughal Masjid,
Maulana Nasri Sahab& I was present in Habeeb Hospital. There came Ms.
Tahira Jaffer and the lady said, Whatever I have said was completely
consent of Ulema. She further said, I recited nothing wrong.
Regarding the Nazr of 22nd Rajab she said, If anybody offers Nazr with
the impression that it was ordained by Imam Jaffer Sadiq [a.s. ] then
it is Bidat.
Maulana Nasri Sahab dittoed her statement. On this I said that Shias
offer Nazr of Imams & the Martyrs of Karbala not because of any
compulsion but because of their love and affection for them.
Controversial statements regarding Nazr & Niyaz are not advisable &
should not be given. The lady could not give any appropriate
explanation regarding Panjas & offerings. As far as dreams are
concerned I replied that they could not be completely ignored since
they have got reference in Quran & Hadith.
She was also advocating that Alams and Tazias [ Tabarrukat e Aza ] can
be touched by the women while they are not clean. I said to her that
if it insults the SHAYAR-E-HUSSAINI then it will be Haraam & it will
be called Hukm-e-Sanavi in terminology of Fiqah. After this discussion
we left.
The Khoja Jamaat decided that Ms Jaffar would further not address the
majalis in Khoja Masjid. The entire decision was of Khoja Jamaat &
none of us [Maulanas] involved in this decision. After this I got busy
in majalis & left for Dubai on 11th Moharram.
On 16th Moharram I got news in Dubai that Ms Jaffer has been deported
& people are blaming me for this decision. The truth is that I am
totally uninvolved in this matter. Yes, I have addressed four Majalis
in Khoja Masjid on the importance of Azadari. These Majalis are
available on internet.
I am totally against of every movement, preaching & writing which
could give a slightest harm to Azadari. The enemies of Azadari object
on our every move & every time they issue Fatwas of Shirk & Bidat.
They get strength by the preachings and writings of the so called
Reformist.
Either my statement could be verified by the Khoja Jamaat of Mumbai or
anyone who wants to talk can contact me.

In The Name Of ALLAH , The Beneficent And The Merciful
SalaamAlaikum
Tahera Jaffer, a zakira from Mombassa in Kenya, was reciting a Majlis
for ladies in Khoja Masjid of Bombay on the 2nd. of Muharram 1426 A.H.
Countless Majlis-e-Azaa are peacefully held in Bombay, but the
inflamatory comments of Tahera Jaffer against the true interpretation
of Shariat, irked the Olema, Zakirs & the Momeneen in general. Under
the guidance of several Olema & Zakirs & in the presence of Momeneen,
the trustees of the Khoja Jamaat & Trust banned her recitation in
Khoja Masjid. However, she continued her preaching at the private Hall
of Mehfile Khatoon-e-Jannat, that could accommodate around 150 ladies.
On 12th of Muharram, Aga Nasiri, representative in India of Aga
Sistani, asked her to avoid further fitna & refrain from reciting
anywhere. She accepted this in the presence of the community as also
the police but later betrayed her words. Displaying crude
irresponsibility & disregard to the sentiments of Momeneen, she tried
to address a seminar at the same hall of Mehfile Khatoon-e-Jannat.
Confusion prevailed due to this & people felt cheated. Fearing law &
order problems the police intervened & deported her. Unfortunately,
the media got a chance to highlight the disturbance that surfaced due
to her. The offence of Tahera Jaffer has brought shame & disgrace to
several hundred thousand of peaceful Shias in Bombay.
ALHAMDOLILLAH, Momeneen in Bangalore & Hyderabad had decided to cancel
her Ashra-e-Majalis, after hearing her controversial cassette. No
wonder, she is banned in Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar & Mahuva. This explains
why she was pulled down from Mimbar in Lahore. Is creating chaos
between Shias, some special way of her earning the pleasure of
Ahlebait-e-Tahereen (A.S.).
She is not merely a pseudo-reformer with a bruised ego but in fact
seems to be on a mission of creating dissension & disaccord in various
cities. She could very well be a part of a larger international
conspiracy, aimed at promoting groupism within Jaffery Shias &
dividing us. Let us all stand united & let us spoil this evil
strategy. With a calm mind & an healthy attitude, let us analyse the
misconceptions of Tahera Jaffer........
Azaadars Imam-e-Mazloom (A.S.) have great respect, obeisance &
reverence towards the Alam-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Abbas (A.S.) We stand
united under the esteemed shadow of Alam-e-Mubarak. Shias beleive it
to be Shairullah. The Holy Qoran says " Mai Yoazim Shairallahe Fa
Innaha Min-at-Taqwal Qolub " (22:32) But , Tahera Jaffer asked, "How
many more Alams will you all make ?" It was same as asking, 'How much
more Taqwa will you observe ?'
The Holy Qoran condemns Israaf -- " Innallaha La Yohibul Musrefeen "
(7:31) Making of an Alam is not any evil act of extravagance,
irrespective of whether a believer makes it after doing its ziyarat in
his dreams or otherwise. But Tahera Jaffer bluntly offended it as 'ISRAAF'
(extravagance).
How would our government react with the one who insults our National
Flag? Thus, no Momeen could be expected to support her for
disrespecting Alam-e-Mubarak.
The lady who has a track-record of inciting people of several cities,
would naturally have been much more cautious. This could not have been
her slip of tongue. The remarks were intentional. She stressed on such
statements deliberately & knew its consequences very well.
A tradition states that creating fitna is more severe than committing
adultery. The sanctified Farsh-e-Azaa is not meant for the outflow of
cheap & freakish whims & fancies. Does anyone feels that Tahera Jaffer
has secured the pleasure of Bibi Sayyeda (S.A.) by her sarcastic
remark for Alam-e-Mubarak as 'Israaf' ??...
Let us further study her views with a healthy & academic approach.
While commenting on the silver offerings in the Imambargahs, she went
berserk & repeatedly declared it to be polythesim. ' Yeah toa
ba-kae-da Shirk hai....', 'Leave this ! Allah does not want all this.'
Every virtue is for one's own soul. Allah (s.w.t.) does not need our
sacrificial animals. The Holy Qoran states, "There does not reach
Allah their flesh nor their blood, but to him reaches the piety (taqwa)
on your part ; " (22:37). Sacrifice of animals comprise just an
expression of piety. Does a believer even imagine to physically offer
flesh & blood to Allah (s.w.t.) ?
But, offering a silver eye or a silver ear in an Imambargah is
polythesim, as per Tahera Jaffer. It remains implicit that a Momeen
whose very first Usool-e-Deen is TAUHID, does not worship that silver
article. Do Momeneen consider a silver eye to be their God or in sense
connect silver with HIS Omnipotent & Omniscient Being ?
Praying with a silver offering in our hands in an Imambargah becomes
'Shirk', according to her. Do the Momeneen pray to that silver article
or do they pray with it ? Do we prostarate to the Kaaba or do we
prostarate towards the Kaaba? Going by her perverted ideologies, she
would blame a sajdah before the Kaaba as stone-worship ?!!
She confuses our humble offerings to be a custom & ritual of
polytheists. If polytheists drink water to quench their thirst, we do
not have to drink something else ! There are several things which the
polytheists do as also the believers do, like the sacrifice of
animals, shaving of heads during pilgrimage etc., but , " Al Amaalo
Bin Niyah " --- the deeds depend upon their intentions.
Wearing of an Agate (Akhigh) ring in our hands is Mustahab-e-Mowakedah.
It is one of the signs of a believer. It enhances the reward of Salat.
If an agate stone could influence the reward of prayers, why could not
a silver offering increase the weight of our Dua ?
Polythesim is Zulm-e-Azeem. The Holy Qoran says, " Wa Mai Yushreko
Billahe Fakadif Tara Isman Azeema " (4:48) ; " Wa Mai Yushrik Billahe
Fakad Zalla Zalaalan Baeeda " (4:116)
Tahera Jaffer presumed her mass audience of believing women to be
Mushrekeen ! Little did she realize the compensation as per the
Jurisprudence for laying such a serious 'tohmah' on so many believers.
Needless to say, she neither had the courtesy nor the inclination to
apologise.
After Shirk & Israf , let us expose her doctrine of Biddat . To
begin with, she issued her foolish verdicts without quoting any
Maraje-Taqleed . That too, without proper knowledge of Usool-e-Fiqh .
In her sick analogy she rendered a number of permissible acts as
Biddat or Tashri. She sounded utterly confused & often
contradicted herself. Let us see her examples of Biddat..
Burning of Incense Sticks in graveyard it is Biddat she declared if
one consider it to be inherent in shariat. Ironically she added that
one could do it of one feels like doing it as there is nothing
unlawful in it .Did she presumed that the shariat is not a complete
code of life? As if she could speak after the shariat become silent !
She proceeded with the lighting of candles on the Dastarkhwan &
branded it as Biddat. In a resentful tone typical to her , she said
Mumbatti bechari jalti rahi, jalti rahi, jalti rahi. Pity her for
burning with jealousy more intensely than the candles . Pity her even
more for being so heretic. Whatever made her feel that decorating the
dastarkhwan is outside the scope of Sharait !
Carried away by her repulsion for Tabarrukh she said Hazrath Abbas
ko laddu na khane ka time than e dekha tha She advocated that the
niyaz of 22nd Rajab becomes biddat if one consider it to be a Jooz
of shariat . Infaaqh has been praised in the Holy Quran &
Ahdees-e-Masumeen a.s , Yet unless ordained a rigid menu, she would
not accept niyaz as part of the shariat . From her perspective, she
would see Biddat in everything served for iftar except Dates.
But the real offence was yet to come .totally out of context in the
topic of biddat , but bearing Ayame Azaa in her mid , she mentioned
the Mehendi of Shazada-e-Qasim a.s , orphan of our Master Maula Hasan
e-Mujtaba a.s , terming the Mehendi ritual as biddat was more than
enough to create disturbance . Even she realized the need to dilute
the bitterness of her poison. Thus she remarked that the Olema have
advised to perform it , as hazrath Qasim a.s was eligible for marriage
& we could show our reverence to the unfulfilled wishes of his mother.
Al Mar-O-bu-oon tehtal lesanehee A person is hidden beneath his
tongue Alas she spoke! It become clear who she really was & what she
wanted, when she said magar koi DhulaDhula. Dhulasuit hi nahi kar
raha hai Qasim ko , Uska Marsiya padhna yaa nawha padnah yeh sab
khatam kar doh !!! This followed her hiccups of shirk & israaf.
But by then the self respecting Khojas of Bombay had decided that they
could no more compromise the etiquettes of Farsh-e-Azaa, just for the
sake of donation from the World Federation.
Yet some greedy elements compared the Garibul Watani of Thaera
Jaffer to that of Saniye Zehra s.a & Janabe Muslim inbe Aqil a.s ? How
cheaply have these people shown their worth? They exposed their level
of Marefath & intelligence.
The wounds inflicted by the words are deeper than those of swords.
Thaera Jaffer & her supporters should fear being answerable to mother
of Mazloome Husain a.s , Bibi Sayyed s.a & Warise-Azaa, Imam-e-Asr
a.t.f.s. Will they do some introspection before it is too late?
Surely we have shown him the way, be he thankful or unthankful

I am a member of Khoja Shia Jamat (Bombay) and today I am shameful to
call myself a member of the jamat. The reason behind this is the
recent incidents that have taken place this mohurram.

at Mehfil e- Khatoon e- Jannat. As a result of this majority of the
ladies stopped going to Masjid and started attending Zakera Tahera
Jafars majlis in the mehfil. When the volunteers saw that there are
very few ladies coming to the masjid they demanded that Zakera Tahera
Jafar should not be allowed to recite in Mehfil also. But this could
not happen and the majlis continued.

lady stood up and said that she had asked a question on some site
named madinatul baabulilm and had got the answer which confirmed that
what the zakera had said as correct. The same day in the evening 2
ladies with full face covered came to the mehfil and distributed a

However, I was wondering if I could contribute, by writing in about
