ISLAMABAD, July 06: Spiritual leader of Pakistani Shiites TNFJ Chief Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi Al-Najafi has said that Islam was spread through tolerance and wisdom and not extremism. The Hindu temple in Islamabad should not be made controversial. If the country earns a good name by allowing minorities to worship within their limits then the construction of temples, gurdwaras and churches is a right step. The state should not get blackmailed at the hands of narrow-minded and extremist elements. Islam teaches us the lesson to select the same for others that you select for yourself. If we object on the worship of a few hundred Hindus then the justification of Masajid, places of worship and religious centres where millions of Muslims pray in the foreign countries would be difficult; whereas extremist group desirous of taking control of Pakistan does not approve the places of worship of the non-Muslims and even that of other Muslim Masalik.

Agha Moosavi said that the insult of Iraqi Maraje on the part of Saudi journal al-Sharq al-awsatis condemnable. The knowledge-based differences are a blessing that do not freeze the knowledge but covering these differences with insult is a dangerous act. The services of the Marjiya are unforgettable. The materialistic Ulema have kept the people away from religion. The sacrifice of Shaheed Muhammad Hussain Shad is a milestone of religious freedoms. These views were expressed by him while talking to the elite from Jhang who called on him at the head of Makhdoom Haider Abbas Bukhari and Sardar Naveed Baloch.

Agha Moosavi said Islam provides freedom to minorities to live their lives in accordance with their religion and provides freedom to them in Muslim countries. Only those things which are Haram in Islam cannot be carried out by non-Muslims in front of Ahl-e-Islam. A non-Muslim can drink wine according to his belief but cannot do so in front of Muslims openly. He said if Muslims are allowed to carry out preaching activities in non-Muslim countries then non-Muslims should also be provided facilities to non-Muslims in Muslim countries to carry out their worship within their limits. He said Hajj centres are established for Muslim Hajj pilgrims in many non-Muslim countries including India while there are uncountable Islamic centres in European countries where donations are collected and spent in religious activities in Muslim countries.

He said hundreds of Tableeghi(Islam Preaching) gatherings are held in the country that belongs to Hindus. Problems should not be created for Muslims residing in other countries by showing fanaticism and extremism so as to avoid defaming Islam.

The TNFJ chief said that Allah is the biggest Maraja(source of guidance). Allama Iqbal (ra) declared Madina and Najaf as the sources of guidance. He said after Allah, Nabi (SAAW) and Masoomin (A.S.), Mujtahideen and Maraja Azzam are consulted for who are authority on Quran, traditions, Ahadees and Ilm-ur-Rijaal. He said there is no section in the world in which the one who does not know would not consult the one who has the knowledge. He said imposing personal defect of anyone on that section or department is the result of low knowledge as all messiahs could not be blamed for a mistake committed by one doctor.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that every religion and maslak living in the country following Pakistan ideology is responsible to protect and guard the rights of citizens living in all the provinces of the country. He said Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has thwarted the conspiracies of the miscreants at every stage and the blood of Shaheed Muhammad Hussain Shad has given a new lease of life to the struggle of defending the Pakistan ideology.

He vowed to always honor the sacrifices of martyrs who laid down their lives for the religion and the motherland and will never allow anyone to cause any harm to the Pakistan ideology.
