Ayat Modarresi condemns holy cities’ sacrilege By: Al-hodaonline HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Ayatullah As-Sayyid Muhammad Taqi Al-Modarresi in the holy city of Karbala has condemned US-led occupation’s assault against the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala. He said it was more appropriate for the occupation forces to accept the opinions of Maraje (religious authorities), movements and the people's representatives to solve the crisis. He hoped that all should pay a heed to the advices of Marjiyah. The Ayatullah demanded coalition forces to immediately withdraw from the holy cities, ensure peace and security for people, compensate the afflicted, include militias in national army and solve all problems in a democratic and political way.
