Europe witnesses Husseini commemorative programs

BRUSSELS, Belgium: Special grand mourning programs to commemorate the supreme and eternal sacrifices rendered by Imam Hussein (AS) - who was brought up in the lap of prophet-hood - to uphold the principles of justice and truth against the forces of tyranny were held across Europe beginning on the advent of the month of Muharram.

Scholars and speakers while delivering speeches highlighted high status of Hazrat Imam Hussein (AS) in the sight of Allah and Holy Prophet (SW), philosophy of Karbala tragedy, objective of his Qayam and his unjust slaughter along with his 72 near and dear ones.

Large number of mourners partook in Husseini commemoration and paid rich homage to the Karbala Martyrs who sacrificed everything for supremacy of Shariah and protection of human dignity.

Moulana Syed Raza Hussein Shah from London addressed in Brussels (Belgium) while Syed Urooj-ul Hasan Miesam from India in Amsterdam (Holland), Moulana Syed Hashim Raza Jaafri in Den Haag (Holland), Syed Ahmad Raza Hussaini from India and Moulana Jawad al-Hasan Jawadi from India in Munster, Syed Iqrar Hussein Naqvi from Sahiwal Pakistan and Syed Javaid Hussein from India in Hamburg (Germany), Ayatullah Hasan Raza Ghadiri in Berlin (Germany), Maulana Zakir Hussein in Märsta (Sweden), Moulana Ghulam Shabbir Shirazi, Moulana Anis Raza Naqvi and Moulana Zulfiqar Haider Naqvi in Denmark, representative of Ayatullah Hafiz Bashir Syed Mussadaq Haider Taqvi in Brachia (Italy), Moulana Syed Saghir Hussein Husseini in Milan (Italy), Moulana Zakir Hussein in karpi (Italy), Moulana Sajjad Hussein Qummi from Pakistan in Barcelona (Spain), Moulana Jafar Hussein Jaafri in Lisbon (Portugal), Moulana Zakir Hussein Taheri from Pakistan, Moulana Sajid Ali Jafari and Moulana Syed Amier Hussein Husseini v.p. Jamia Ilmia Karachi in Sweden, Moulana Safdar Abbas Taheri from Pakistan, Syed Taqi Rahimian from Iran and Syed Raza Haider from India in Norway, Moulana Muhammad Abbas and Hashim Raza in Greece, Moulana Arshad Turabi in Paris (France), Moulana Syed Shamshad Hussein Rizvi from India in Austria and Moulana Syed Mureed Hussein Naqvi in Finland.

On Ashoor night, mourners gathered at mosques, husseiniat, imambargahs and Islamic centers. They recited Ziarat Ashoora, performed chest beating, offered elegies and presented condolences in the respected court of Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SW), Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (AS), Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (AS) and other Aaimmah Ahlil Bayt (AS) on the tragic occasion.

Mourners performed Amal-e-Ashoora followed by majalis, matam, Alam processions and Niyaz-e-Husseini on Ashoora Day. At night, majalis of Sham-e-Ghareeban were held attended by throngs of mourners to commemorate the sufferings of Hazrat Zainab binte Ali (AS).


Ashura processions held in Europe, Oceania

GLASGOW, Scotland: Mourning processions were held in different European and Oceanian countries on Ashura Day in connection with martyrdom anniversary of holy Prophet Muhammad (p)’s grandson Imam Hussain (p).
 
  "Knowledge is better than wealth because it protects you while you have to guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE ..
