HOLY CITY OF QOM/ KUWAIT CITY: Religious leaders and different organizations from Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Pakistan and Lebanon have severely condemned disgrace of holy sites in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala and fire on the holy mausoleum of Amir-ul-Momineen (Commander of Faithful) Al-Imam Ali (peace be on him) causing harm to its dome which has drawn deep regrets and anger in the Muslim world.

Association of Qom Hawzah Ilmiyah scholars while denouncing the disgrace of holy cities demanded from the occupation forces to withdraw forthwith from the holy cities.

Ayatullah Sayyid Sadiq As-Shirazi in a statement received to Jafariyanews held occupation forces responsible for the disgrace of holy sites. He demanded immediate withdrawal of coalition forces from the holy cities as a prelude for their pull out from all cities of Iraq, and solution of all problems through dialogue. He called Iraqis to pray Allah through Masumeen (peace be on them) for end of their problems.

Ayatullah Makarem Ash-Shirazi also condemned the US attack on the holy cities.

Ayatullah Nuri Hamadani and Ayatullah Sheikh Jawwad At-Tabrezi did not take their darsul kharej classes protesting against the sacrilege.

Shiite Ulema Council in Kuwait issued a statement expressing deep sorrow over US aggression on holy cities. It demanded US-led coalition forces to immediately leave the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala as well as from Moqtada As-Sadr militiamen to avoid bloodshed in the holy places and quit them forthwith so that visitors may easily perform worship in these holy cities.

The Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan chief Agha Sayyed Hamid Moosavi severely condemned the sacrilege of the holy cities of Najaf, Karbala, Kazmain and Samra by US-led forces. He warned that colonial powers have now their eyes on the holy shrine of holy Prophet (peace be on him & his pure progeny). A subsidiary body to TNFJ, Mukhtar Students Organization demanded from International court of Justice to set up an Enquiry Commission for probe in shooting on Imam Ali (peace be on him) shrine, siege of Karbala and massacre of innocent Iraqis.
