On this occasion, Mourning processions were organized in all cities of Pakistan to pay tributes and homage to Imam Hussain (A.S).
Central processions of Twin Cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi were brought out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain TeliMohalla, Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain, ImambargahHifazat Ali Shah, Imambargah Shaheedan e Karbala and Darbar Sakhi Shah Chan Charagh which were participated by hundreds of thousands of Azadars(mourners). Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi offered Ziarat of Taaziya during the central procession at Committee Chowk Rawalpindi.
On this occasion while addressing to the representatives of media and Azadars, he said by sacrifice his life and the lives of his companions in Karbala, Imam Hussain (A.S) thwarted the biggest attack against Tauheed and Risalah, biggest protest in favor of Khatam e Nabuwah is Azadari(Mourning of Imam Hussain). The ideology of Khatam e Nabuwah is an integral part of religion, according to a hadees e Mubarak of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), on the occasion of Ghazwah e Tabook, holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) said to Hazrat Ali (A.S), “O Ali! You are associated with me in the same manner as Haroon with Moosa however, there is no Prophet after me”. This hadees of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) is a seal on the end of Prophet-hood. All evil forces of the world have united against Islam, Muslims will have to adopt the path of Karbala to confront them.
He said that terrorism is the invention of colonial powers which diverted global attention from the matters of Kashmir and Palestine however, we will never let Kashmir and Palestine issues forgotten. Strongly condemning the martyrdoms of courageous Police officer Hamid Shakeel and his staff in Quetta he said that despite Zarb e Azab and Raddul fasad, terrorism continues due to absence of compliance with National Action Plan. Dictators spoiled Pakistan as the nation is still facing consequences of intervening in Afghanistan while terrorists are still challenging state on media. Banned organizations are participating in elections and becoming members of Ideology Council and Ulama Boards.
Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Neighbors are like brothers however Pakistan is faced with an eternal enemy like India therefore, diplomatic relations with Iran and Afghanistan must be improved. Army Chief’s visit to Iran is a good omen as Iran and Afghanistan our Muslim brother states therefore, strategy must be formulated to bring them out of the Indian camp. Iran had accepted Pakistan before anyone else and supported Pakistan in United Nations and during wars against India. America or China, foreign policy must not be left to any particular state but our policy must be based upon protection of national interests.
He demanded equal rights for Maktab e Tashayyo, he questioned that why the head of Ideology Council and Royat e Hilal Committees has never been from the Shia sect? Banned groups must be expelled from committees and boards. He urged politicians that personal and party interests must be abandoned in front of national interests.
Agha Moosavi said that Hazrat Adam’s repentance was accepted after he referred to the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and Panjetan e Pak (A.S) in his supplications. Every prophet mourned after he was notified about the future incident of Karbala while Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (A.S) mourned his father Imam Hussain (A.S) and his companions for the rest of his life. Agha Moosavi said that Majalis e Aza and Jaloos of Hussaini mourning will continue unstopped till 8th Rabi ul Awal which must be secured in accordance with the Moosavi-Junejo agreement. Addressing to the central procession of Chehlum at Fawara Chowk, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi highlighted the philosophy of Imam Hussain’s (A.S) martyrdom and mentioned about the tragic incidents occurred at the return of the respected Ladies of the Prophet’s family from Syria to Karbala.

The resolution appreciated prompt action of the ministry of Education against the disrespect of Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain in the newly published text book of Islamiyat for Class-II after TNFJ raised the matter to the ministry and demanded to review all the course and make it error-free as private institutions are teaching courses as per their own likings which must also be regulated. Resolution expressed gratitude on formation of Muharram Control Rooms in federal Interior Ministry, provincial home ministries and the security arrangements made for the programs of Azadari across Pakistan.
Resolution vowed that no power on earth can create differences between Shias and Sunnis and that the processions of Meelad e Mustafa (PBUH&HP) and Azadari e Syed ushShuhada will continue till the appearance of Imam e Zamana (A.S).
